I am like a little kid in a candy shop! So excited to open this new door into professional photography in Charlotte, NC.
I always have dreamed of hanging out a shingle for my photography business. In the past couple of months, my friend and co-professional photographer, Mike McCarn have stumbled onto this very cool space in downtown Mt. Holly to set up our lights, set up shop and work together in this small, but very cool studio space-just minutes from Uptown Charlotte, NC.
There is some incredible energy in Mt. Holly right now as the downtown Historic area is seeing an amazing reformation. Mike and I get to be a small part of that change. Well share this former shoe repair shop at 107 West Central Avenue with four other artists-a ceramic artist, a couple of really inspiring painters and a graphic artist. We are located upstairs with three other studios, above a gallery where many more artists will have their work for sale. We have an awesome window that allows the most amazing light to fill every corner of the room.
We will be moving in sometime this March. This old building is in the middle of getting a new life-inside and out and will stand tall and proud when finished. Ill note when both Mike and I are up and running here and will soon be scheduling shoots then.
You can see some of my work here on this website. Check out Mikes incredible work here on his site https://www.mikemccarnphotography.com/ And come by for a visit when we get the studio up and running!
